I uninstalled Photoshop - there were two CS6 listed but the one that wasn't annotated (64X ?) was paled (grayed) out and I uninstalled both - then reinstalled it from a link Adobe sent me in 2021 (when I also had major problems getting parts of CS6 running after hardware replacements). It's as if I never turned the program on - except that I can open the saved psd file. After my desktop (Windows 10) motherboard and processor were replaced, InDesign CS6 still works fine, but (apart from a very annoying problem re-registering Acrobat, now fixed by Adobe with a more recent version) the other serious problem I am left with is that Photoshop CS6, while it opens, and I can create a new canvas, paste an image into it, crop it, move it etc, and even 'merge visible' and SAVE the psd file, but when I try to PASTE A SECOND IMAGE ONTO THAT CANVAS (which sometimes works and sometimes crashes) and (if it hasn't crashed already) then CROP, it crashes, not just out of the file, but out of Photoshop.
